The “Seven Blood-Thieves” is a real story about seven snakes that are partners,
Those seven snakes type are called “Mabillen” in Tamil
The story says that the snakes live in seven in a group, the are small but long, maybe about 1 feet. The special thing is they hang one on another, as if the 7th one uses its tail to hang on the roof while it bites the tip of the 6th one’s tail, then the 6th one bites the 5th one’s tail, after that the 5th one bites the 4th one’s tail, next the 4th one bites the 3rd one’s tail, after that the 3rd one bites the 2nd one’s tail and finally the 2nd one bites the first one’s tail and they usually can reach a person 7 feet from the roof, then the 1st one bites the tiny toe, just when it starts sucking blood from the person, the 2nd – 7th snakes all start sucking each others’ blood like 1st from the person ,
2nd from the 1st, 3rd from the 2nd, 4th from the 3rd, 5th from the 4th, 6th from the 5th, and finally 7th from the 6th. They all suck each others’ blood. And when they all suck the blood from the human, the human may feel dizzy or faintish and sometimes when they suck all the blood there are slight chances of death.
