Frogs
INFORMATION
Frogs are amphibians who live in the water when they are young and once they grow up they grow lungs and start living in the land.
A frog has a smooth, slimy skin and two long back legs, they use their long back legs to jump here and there.
A frog lives in a muddy or wet area.
Frogs are carnivorous animals, Who catch and eat insects.
A frog has four steps in its life cycle,
- In spring the female frog lays thousands of eggs in the water,
- After some time the eggs hatch into tiny tadpoles with wriggly tails,
- And then they grow fatter and fatter and grow legs then turn into froglets,
- And finally the grow larger in size and lose their tails and turn in to adult frogs.
